GCSE Year 11 Mathematics: What they’d teach you if they had the time What they’d teach you if they had the time Book 3

#ad
#ad - In this book i have chosen a few subject areas that are studied at GCSE, year 11. They are concepts that i typically come across during my teaching and so hope this book gives a deeper understanding.

What they'd teach you....if they had the time: How your teachers would like to teach maths if they had the time - Maths

#ad
K B tutoring and training #ad - This book goes beyond current teaching and endevours to give you a deeper understanding of particular subject areas of mathematics. When you leave feedback please email me as when i have completed the books i intend to give out a lot of free copies to my mailing list. Will pythagoras always work ? where does calculus come from ? what's the point of trigonometry ? Why does that work ? Where does that come from ? These are questions that may have considered but as teachers and tutors are often stretched and short of time don't have time to explain them to you.

. This is just a sample of a series of books i am developing. Students are often taught how to follow the steps to solve the problem. Where does a particular formula come from, explaining calculus. Here is a sample of a larger book.

K B Tutoring and Training #ad - Trigonometry, What they'd teach you if they had the time: How your teachers would like to teach maths.. What they'd teach you if they had the time Book 2 #ad - It deals with the trigonometry rules and processes that are commonly used in GCSE and A'level and dissects the rules to explain how and why they work. This book is part of a series so please look out for new books to follow. This book deals with trigonometry from its birth in ancient Greece through to its use in modern day.

#ad - to - Mixed multiple choice questions: Entry level 2 - Functional skills level 2 What they'd teach you if they had the time Book 4 #ad - Enjoy. I have done this to save space and to keep the price of the book low. I am happy for you to use these questions for your own classes. If you would like me to produce more questions for you please get in touch on my email address or through my website www. Whattheydteachyou. Co. Uk. I haven't labelled the answers A, B, D, C, but i hope it's obvious which ones are which.

A collection of multiple choice questions from Entry level 2 to functional skills level 2. I would welcome any suggestions or feedback. At functional skills level 2 there are also a few FS2 questions that are more GCSE style. I hope you like the questions.

Calculus in 5 Hours: Concepts Revealed so You Don't Have to Sit Through a Semester of Lectures

#ad
Six Sycamores, LLC #ad - The problem is that assigned textbooks give exhaustive explanations of every proof and theorem in Calculus. What's needed is a straightforward guide to give you the basic concepts. Calculus in 5 hours is a good companion to any Calculus course and an excellent resource for refreshing your knowledge of the subject.

Here's what it can do for you:* organize your understanding of calculus for quick and easy recall on tests and homework assignments* Present straightforward drawings that demonstrate concepts with minimal effort on your part* Highlight simple examples without burdening you with useless detailsCalculus in 5 Hours covers roughly 75% of a first-semester course and leaves out the extra material that adds little value in learning Calculus itself.

Instead, you'll get a straightforward and simple explanation of Calculus that can be absorbed in less than a day, strengthening your knowledge and confidence at the same time. Students often struggle to understand Calculus and get through their first Calculus course. But too many details can impair learning - especially when you're learning something for the first time - creating doubt and uncertainty in your ability to understand.

Calculus in 5 Hours: Concepts Revealed so You Don't Have to Sit Through a Semester of Lectures #ad - Calculus in 5 hours develops the confidence you need in approximately 124 pages. You may not realize it, but you're smarter than you think you are. So, if you need a comprehensive textbook that goes through every detail of Calculus, then this book is not for you. And to make things worse, many popular textbooks reach a whopping 1, 000 pages to introduce this crucial subject, needlessly frustrating and overwhelming students.

Elements of Algebra

#ad
#ad - 4. Starting with basic mathematical concepts such as signs, infinite series, arithmetic and geometric ratios, Euler then discusses how to solve equations of varying degrees, logarithms, powers and roots, fractions, methods of rendering certain formulas rational, and the calculation of interest, and more.

The original notation for continued fractions has been replaced with the more modern notation. 3. Several inline formulas were moved out-of-line to give the work more space. 6. The footnotes were moved to a Notes section at the end of the book. 9. In 1771, joseph-louis lagrange included an addendum to the French edition containing topics such as continued fractions and Diophantine equations.

This edition of elements of algebra was completely re-written using Microsoft Word and its Equation Editor over the course of several months and is not just another scanned copy of John Hewlett's original English language translation. The overuse of the comma in several places was brought up to modern standards.

Elements of Algebra #ad - It is my hope that by creating this new "modern" edition, a renewed interest will be generated for a work which certainly does not deserve to be forgotten, written by a brilliant mathematician considered "the master of us all". Updated with corrections on july 30, 2016. The word "formulae" was replace by "formulas".
